More details: Beneath the shadows of the beautiful Nevado del Hulia, thies the town of Planadas, home to 100 small-scale coffee growers responsible for the El jordan blend. The influence of the active volcano has given this region rich volcanic soils and sheer mountain formations, resulting in a range micro-climates. The fertile lands and mild climate, combined with strong dedication from these producers, result in a unique cup profile. Despite safety and security issues in the past, due to the guerilla presence in the region for over four decades, these coffee growers have always grown their coffee with pride and care. |
