Cup Profile: Sweet almond body with a red apple and a lasting finish.

The Behrend family started their story in coffee in 1946 in the state of Paraná, where they had complications due to a historical frost.

In 1975 the family moved to Patrocínio in the Cerrado region after severe losses. They settled in this region and the family still farms there today.

More recently, Carlos’s son, Rodrigo, has focused on investing in the production of quality coffees with different processing techniques. This new approach has resulted in some really nice, clean and well balanced cups such as this anaerobic micro lot. This is the second time Kamba have imported this coffee from the Behrend family.
